Cosmetic Technology Instructor

This 20-hour program prepares experienced aesthetic professionals to transition into an instructor role. The total cost is $3,950, which includes tuition and $150 in fees. This covers 20 hours of instructor-focused training at BC Medical Clinic in Coquitlam, British Columbia. The program is designed for aesthetic practitioners who want to expand their career into education and mentorship.

No prior teaching experience is required — the course is designed to build your instructional skills from the ground up. However, having professional experience in aesthetic treatments will help you apply the pedagogical skills you learn. You must be at least 18 years old and provide valid government-issued photo ID.

Graduates receive a Cosmetic Technology Instructor Certificate from BC Medical Clinic, Canadian College of Aesthetic Dermatology. This credential validates your ability to plan lessons, deliver demonstrations, assess student performance, and guide hands-on practice in a professional cosmetic technology training environment.
